Double Exposure is the fourth episode of the third season of Columbo and the twenty-first episode overall. It first aired on December 16, 1973 and was directed by Richard Quine. In addition to Peter Falk as Lieutenant Columbo, the episode stars Robert Culp, Chuck McCann and Louise Latham. This was Culp's third of four appearances on Columbo and the last in which he played the killer.
In Double Exposure, Dr. Bart Keppel of Impulse Research Labs - the inventor of the subliminal cut - uses his technique to blackmail people. When one of his victims threaten to expose the entire operation, the innovator use a subliminal cut to commit the perfect murder.

- Robert Middleton as Vic Norris, a businessman targeted by Dr. Keppel for blackmail and later murder.
- Arlene Martel as Tanya Baker, a model who appears in several of Keppel's advertising films and also seduces his clients as part of the blackmail scheme.
- Francis De Sales, Ann Driscoll and E.A. Sirianni as Patterson, Mrs. Halstead and Norbert respectively, some of Dr. Keppel's clients.
- Dennis Robertson as Detective Marley.
